Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) Recruitment 2025 – 400 Posts

The Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) has announced the recruitment of 400 Medical Officers (Short Service Commission) for 2025. This opportunity is open to both male (300 vacancies) and female (100 vacancies) candidates across India.​

Vacancy Details:

• Male: 300 posts
• Female: 100 posts
• Pay: Pay level 10B of Defence Pay Matrix of BP Rs. 61300 + MSP Rs. 15500 + HRA + NPA + Transport Allowance + Dress Allowance.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: MBBS or Postgraduate degree/diploma recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), Medical Council of India (MCI), or National Board of Examinations (NBE).
• Registration: Permanent registration from any State Medical Council, MCI, or NMC is mandatory.
• Internship Completion: Candidates must have completed their internship by 31st March 2025.
• Age Limit (as of 31st December 2025):
• MBBS/PG Diploma holders: Up to 30 years
• PG Degree holders: Up to 35 years
