| SAMARTH Admission Portal 2025 |
The Assam State Higher Education Admission Portal, also known as the SAMARTH Admission Portal, was first introduced for the academic session 2023–2024. It streamlines the admission process for all government, provincialized, private, PDUAM, and model colleges, as well as state universities in Assam.
Developed under the Ministry of Education’s NMEICT (National Mission on Education through ICT) initiative, SAMARTH offers a fully managed, cloud-based ERP system tailored to the needs of Indian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

- Visit the Portal: Go to the official SAMARTH Portal link.
- Register: Use your basic personal and academic details (same as Class X mark sheet).
- Fill Application: Add your educational information and upload necessary documents.
- Submit Form: Generate the acknowledgment receipt and keep a print copy.
- Merit List & Admission: Once Class 12 results are out, select preferred institutions and programs. Admission is based on merit.

| Assam Government Fee Waiver Scheme |
To provide access to the poor students of the State and to help them achieve the benefits of Higher Education, Govt. of Assam has introduced a novel scheme of getting admission through tuition fee waiver. The Scheme will be applicable to the students seeking admission into 1st Year of H.S. /B.A./B.Sc./B.Com and M.A./M.Sc/M.Com courses.
To avail the benefits of this scheme, students must apply for admission through the SAMARTH portal. Only applications submitted via SAMARTH will be eligible for the tuition fee waiver.
