AAU Jorhat Recruitment 2025 , Jorhat, has announced a recruitment drive for 28 non-teaching positions under Advertisement No. 04/2025. The online application process commenced on April 12, 2025, and will conclude on May 13, 2025.

Vacancy Details:

• Junior Administrative Assistant: 10 posts
• Junior Accountant: 10 posts
• Pharmacist: 1 post
• Section Assistant: 3 posts
• Junior Electrician: 4 posts​

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules. For details, check the official notification.

Educational Qualifications

• Junior Administrative Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Arts, or Commerce from a recognized university. Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application is desirable.​
• Junior Accountant: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Arts, or Commerce from a recognized university. Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application and experience in accounts are desirable.​
• Pharmacist: HSLC or equivalent examination pass. Diploma in Pharmacy from a State/Central Govt. recognized institute. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Govt. recognized hospitals.​
• Section Assistant: H.S.S.L.C or equivalent (10+2 Examination) passed from any recognized Board/Council. Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application is desirable.​
• Junior Electrician: Trade Certificate from any Govt. ITI in Electrician trade with 2-3 years of work experience in the relevant field.​

Eligibility Criteria of AAU Jorhat Recruitment 2025

Residentship:

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
• The candidate must produce either:
  • Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes, or
  • Employment Exchange Registration Certificate from any district in Assam.

Nationality:

• Candidates must be Indian citizens as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

Age Relaxation:
The upper age limit is relaxable as follows:

• SC/ST candidates: Relaxation of 5 years (up to 45 years)
• OBC/MOBC candidates: Relaxation of 3 years (up to 43 years)
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Relaxation of 10 years
