Nationality: Indian citizen as per Articles 5–8 of the Constitution
Residency:
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- As proof of residency, the candidate must upload either of the following documents along with the online application:
- Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes, or
- Employment Exchange Registration Certificate from any Employment Exchange of Assam.
Age Limit (as of 01/01/2025): 21 to 38 years
- SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years relaxation
- PwBD: 10 years relaxation
Educational Qualification:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university with any of the following subjects: Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Agricultural Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Anthropology, Social Work, Business Administration, Business Management, Geography, or Commerce. Preference will be given to Honours graduates
Employment Exchange Registration
Candidates must be registered in any of the Employment Exchanges of Assam and should possess a valid registration number.
Small Family Norms
Applicants are required to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of application. This is a mandatory requirement as per Assam government norms.
