Before applying, candidates must understand that Rechecking is NOT the same as Re-evaluation of the answer scripts. The SEBA rechecking process only covers the following aspects:
What Does Rechecking Include?
Re-totalling of marks awarded by the examiner
Evaluation of any unanswered/unevaluated responses, if found
Correction of any clerical errors or wrong entry of marks in the answer script
Result Notification:
The rechecking result will be communicated to applicants within 30 days from the last date of application submission.
Results will be shared only via SMS and email.
In Case of Marks Change:
If there is any change in marks, the revised Mark Sheet/Certificate will be issued only after:
Submission of the original mark sheet to the Board’s office through the Head of the Institution.
The Board will not send revised documents directly to the student or through any external agency.
Scanned Answer Script:
Candidates who apply for photocopy along with rechecking will receive the scanned copy of their evaluated answer script via email only.
To complete the online application process for HSLC Answer Script Rechecking, candidates are required to pay the applicable fees online. Below is the fee structure:

Scanned Copy of OMR Sheet & Answer Key: ₹50/- per subject

Note: Ensure successful payment to receive your ARN (Application Receipt Number), which is required to track your application status.
How to Rechecking of HSLC Answer Script 2025
Candidates who are not satisfied with their HSLC 2025 answer script evaluation can apply for rechecking or photocopy with rechecking through the SEBA Rechecking Portal. Follow the steps below to complete your application:
Step-by-Step Application Process:
Scroll down to the Important Web-Links section of the official page.
Click on the link “SEBA Rechecking Portal”.
The official recheck portal will open.
Click on “Apply For Re-checking Or Photocopy With Re-checking Of Answer Scripts”.
Enter your Roll and Number of the HSLC Examination 2025 to proceed.
Choose the service:
Only Re-checking
Photocopy with Re-checking of evaluated answer scripts
Select the subject(s) for which you wish to apply.
Upload a scanned copy of your Original Admit Card in .jpeg/.png format (file size up to 500KB).
Enter your contact details (email and mobile number).
Review all details carefully. (SEBA will not be responsible for any unprocessed application due to incorrect information.)
Click on “Confirm and Pay Online”.
On the payment page, fill in the required details and click the blue “Pay Now” button.
After successful payment, you will receive an Application Receipt Number (ARN) via SMS on your registered mobile.
You can also download the payment invoice for future reference.
Use the ARN to track the status of your application on the SEBA website.
