Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have released the admit cards for the Computer Based Test (CBT) for the recruitment of 3445 Under Graduate Level posts under Non Technical Popular Categories (NTPC). These posts are being filled under CEN 06/2024 in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways. The CBT Exam is scheduled to be held from 07th August 2025 to 09th September 2025. Candidates can download their CBT admit card by following the steps below:
Scroll down to the Important Web Links section. Click on the “RRB Guwahati Admit Card” link. A new page will open. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth, then click on the Login button. RRB NTPC 2025 – Selection Process
The recruitment process for RRB NTPC (CEN 06/2024) involves the following stages:
1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)Purpose: Screening of candidates Questions: 100 (Objective Type) Duration: 90 minutes Total Marks: 100 Negative Marking: 1/3 for each wrong answer Subjects:Mathematics General Intelligence & Reasoning General Awareness Minimum Qualifying Marks:UR/EWS: 40%, OBC: 30%, SC: 30%, ST: 25% PwBD: Relaxation of 2% (if needed) Note: Normalized scores will be used to shortlist candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT. 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)Questions: 120 (Objective Type) Duration: 90 minutes Total Marks: 120 Negative Marking: 1/3 for each wrong answer Subjects: Same as 1st Stage CBT Minimum Qualifying Marks: Same as 1st Stage CBT Note: Normalized marks will be used to shortlist candidates for Typing Skill Test/CBAT/Document Verification based on the post applied. 3rd Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)Applicable for the post of Station Master only Shortlisting: 8 times the vacancies based on 2nd CBT performance Qualifying T-Score: Minimum 42 in each test battery Language: English and Hindi only No negative marking Requirement: Vision Certificate (Annexure VI) at the time of CBAT 4th Typing Skill Test (TST)Applicable for posts like Clerk and Typist Nature: Qualifying only (marks not added to merit) Speed Requirement: English: 30 WPM Hindi: 25 WPM Fonts for Hindi: Kruti Dev and Mangal Typing Tool: PC without editing/spell-check tools 5th Document Verification (DV)Based on merit and post preference Includes:Verification of documents and certificates Medical Fitness Test Character and antecedent verification Final appointment is made by respective Railway Zones after DV and Medical Fitness.
