Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army TGC Recruitment

Age Limit:

Candidate must be aged between 20 to 27 years as on 01 January 2026.
Only those born between 02 January 1999 and 01 January 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates who have passed the required Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of their engineering program are eligible to apply.
Final year students must:
- Be able to submit proof of passing the engineering degree exam along with all mark sheets by 01 January 2026.
- Produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA).

Note: Candidates applying without a degree certificate will be inducted on Additional Bond Basis. If they fail to produce the degree within the stipulated time, they will be liable for recovery of training cost and stipend/pay & allowances received during the training at IMA.
