HS 1st Year Admission 2025 – Darpan Portal Online Apply

The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division – II, formerly known as the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC), has introduced an online platform called “Darpan” to streamline the admission process for HS 1st Year Admission 2025. This portal enables students to apply for HS 1st Year admission through a completely online process.

Students who have successfully passed the HSLC (Class 10) Examination in 2025 are eligible to apply for 1st Year courses under the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council for the academic session 2025–2026. The online admission process will commence from 17th April 2025.

Interested candidates are advised to visit the Darpan portal and complete their applications within the given timeline.

Students applying for Higher Secondary 1st Year Admission 2025 through the DARPAN Portal must ensure the following documents are ready in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format, with each file size not exceeding 1 MB.

Step-by-Step Application Process:

• Step 1: Scroll down and check the Important Web Links section.
• Step 2: Click on the link titled “HS 1st Year Online Admission”.
• Step 3: The DARPAN admission portal will load. Click on “Register a New Account”.
• Step 4: Fill in your personal and educational details as required.
• Step 5: Upload scanned copies of your passport-sized photograph and HSLC (Class 10) marksheet.
• Step 6: Choose a secure 4-digit Login PIN and click the “Register” button.
• Step 7: Revisit the HS 1st Year Online Admission link and log in using your credentials.
• Step 8: Select your preferred course and choose up to five institutions in order of preference.
• Step 9: Click on “Submit” and take a printout of your submitted application for future reference.
• Step 10: Regularly check the DARPAN portal for updates regarding merit list and admission status. You will be notified about the institutions you’ve been selected for.

How to Check HS 1st Year Merit List & Confirm Admission

Once you’ve submitted your application through the DARPAN Portal, follow these steps to check the merit list and accept your admission offer for HS 1st Year courses under ASSEB, Division – II.

Step-by-Step Process to Check Merit List & Accept Admission:

Step 1: Scroll up and go to the Important Web Links section.

Step 2: Click on the “HS 1st Year Merit List” link.

Step 3: A new page will open. Enter your:

• Mobile Number
• Date of Birth
• Security PIN
• Then, click Login.

Step 4: Once logged in, your DARPAN Dashboard will appear. Click on the “Application Submitted” button.

Step 5: You will see a list of all colleges/schools you applied to.

Step 6: Each listed institution will display your admission request status.

Step 7: If your name appears in the merit list, you will see an “Accept Admission Request” link next to the respective institution.
