Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a short employment notification for the recruitment of approximately 22,000 Group D / Level-1 posts under various Railway Zones across India. The recruitment will be conducted against CEN No. 09/2025. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official RRB portal.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have any one of the following:
• 10th Pass (Matriculation), or
• ITI from NCVT/SCVT, or
• National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT

Application Fee

• SC / ST / PwBD / Female / Transgender / Ex-Servicemen / Minority / EBC ₹250
• Others ₹500

Fee Refund

• ₹250 will be refunded to reserved category candidates after appearing in CBT
• ₹400 will be refunded to General category candidates after appearing in CBT

Computer Based Test (CBT) – Exam Pattern

• Duration: 90 Minutes
• Type: Objective (MCQ)

• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark for each wrong answer

• OBC (NCL) – 30%
• SC / ST – 30%
• (Relaxation of 2% for PwBD candidates if required)
