Vacancy Details (Teaching Posts – Regular)

1. Professor

• No. of Post : 6 Posts
• Assamese (OBC/MOBC): 1
• English (ST‑P): 1
• Chemistry (UR): 1
• Geography (UR): 1
• Physics (UR): 1
• Zoology (OBC/MOBC): 1
• Pay scale: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200 per month

2. Associate Professor

• No. of Post : 5 Posts
• English: 2 posts (UR‑1, OBC/MOBC‑1)
• Geography (ST‑H): 1
• Zoology: 2 (UR‑1, ST‑P‑1) with specialization in Cell & Molecular Biology for Zoology; others open
• Pay scale: ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100 per month

3. Assistant Professor

• No. of Post : 6 Posts
• English (UR): 1
• Physics (OBC/MOBC): 1
• Mathematics (UR, specialization: Pure/Applied): 1
• Botany (OBC/MOBC): 1
• Physical Education & Sports (UR): 1
• Chemistry (Lien vacancy, UR): 1
• Pay scale: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400 per month

Total: 17 teaching positions. Minimum qualifications follow UGC regulations applicable to each category.

• Submission requirements: Two copies of the completed application form (available on the official website), self-attested academic and experience documents, Demand Draft, and cover envelope clearly mentioning post and department names

2. Application Fee

• A non-refundable application fee must be paid as per category:
• ₹3,000/- for General/OBC/MOBC candidates
• ₹2,000/- for SC/ST candidates
• The amount should be paid via Demand Draft drawn in favour of:
• Registrar, Bhattadev University,
• payable at State Bank of India, Pathsala Branch

3. Submission of Application

• Two complete copies of the filled-in application form along with self-attested copies of all testimonials must be submitted.
• The envelope should be superscribed with “Name of the Post & Department” clearly.
