Applications are invited from Indian Nationals (Female candidates only) for admission into the B.Sc (Nursing) Course for the academic session 2025-26 at Assam Oil College of Nursing (AOCN), located at IOCL (AOD), Digboi.

• Eligibility: Only female candidates may apply.
• Entrance Exam: Admission will be based on CEE-2025, conducted by SSUHS, Guwahati.

Educational Qualification

• Must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Science or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/Council/University with English as a compulsory subject.
  • Minimum qualifying marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) combined with English:
  • General Category: 50% (without grace marks)
  • PwBD Candidates: 45% (without grace marks)
  • SC/ST Candidates: 40% (without grace marks)
• Proof of Date of Birth:
  • Only the 10th Pass/Matriculation Certificate issued by the respective Education Board will be accepted as valid proof of DOB.
• No other document will be considered for age verification.

• Candidates are required to upload the following documents on the AOCN online admission portal:
• CEE-2025 Admit Card
• CEE-2025 Scorecard
• Class 10 & 12 Mark Sheets and Pass Certificates
• Valid Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PH/DLC, if applicable)
• Recent Passport Size Photograph
• Signature of the Candidate

Selection & Tie-Breaking Criteria

• Only 30 candidates, based on merit and reservation norms, will be shortlisted for:
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination
• In case of a tie in total marks (CEE-2025 + Income-based weightage), the following tie-breaker will apply:
• Date of Birth – Candidate senior in age will get a higher merit position.

Not Eligible

• Candidates possessing professional degrees or qualifications such as: B.E./B.Tech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA, or equivalent professional qualifications
  are NOT eligible to apply for this course.

Age Limit (As on 31.12.2025)

• Minimum Age: 17 years
• Maximum Age: 35 years

Age Relaxation (as per Government Guidelines):

• SC/ST Candidates: Up to 5 years relaxation (i.e., upper age limit = 40 years)
• OBC-NCL Candidates: Up to 3 years relaxation (i.e., upper age limit = 38 years)
• PwBD Candidates: Up to 5 years relaxation, irrespective of reservation status

Proof of Age:

• Only the Class 10 (Matriculation) Marksheet or Certificate issued by a recognized Board of Secondary Education will be accepted as valid proof of date of birth.

Important Admission Conditions

• Management Discretion
  • Filling up of seats will be solely at the discretion of the Management.
  • If suitable or sufficient candidates are not available, some seats may remain vacant.
  • No claims shall be entertained for admission in such cases.
• Final Authority
  • The decision of the Management regarding:
    • Eligibility,
    • Acceptance or rejection of applications,
    • Mode of selection,
    • Cancellation of selection,
    • And any related matter will be final and binding.
  • No correspondence or appeal will be entertained in this regard.
• Medical Fitness
  • Only those candidates who are declared medically fit after the examination will be considered for final admission.

Candidates selected for admission to the B.Sc Nursing Course (2025–26) at AOCN, IOCL (AOD), Digboi, will be entitled to the following benefits and post-course opportunities:

During the Course (Student Phase)

• Free Hostel Accommodation (Compulsory for all students)
• Free Medical Attention at AOD Hospital
• Free Uniforms provided to all selected candidates

It is mandatory for all selected candidates to stay in the Nursing College Hostel for the entire course duration.

After Completion of Course (Internship Phase)

Upon successful completion of the 4-year B.Sc (Nursing) course:

• Candidates will be compulsorily engaged as Working Interns for 1 (one) year at:
  • AOD Hospital, or
  • Any other hospital under Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL)
• The internship period may be extended by up to 2 (two) additional years at the sole discretion of IOCL (AOD).

Stipend during Internship

Accommodation will not be provided during the internship period.

Step 1: Register for CEE-2025

• All applicants must register and appear for the Common Entrance Examination (CEE-2025) conducted by:
• Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati
• Notification No.: SSUHS/152/2025/1886, Date: 11.04.2025

Step 2: Apply Online at AOCN Portal

• After the declaration of the CEE-2025 results, candidates must:
• Visit the official admission portal of **Assam Oil College of Nursing (AOCN): https://aocnadmission.in/
• Complete the online application form using:
  • CEE-2025 Roll Number
  • Total Marks obtained in CEE-2025
  • Upload the required documents
• Applications without valid CEE-2025 scores will be rejected.
