Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division II officially declared the Assam HS Final Examination 2025 Results on 30th April 2025. Students who are not satisfied with their marks now have the opportunity to apply for rechecking of their answer scripts. The online “Punarikshan” process for Re-checking and Reassessment of Answer Scripts will begin from 3rd May 2025 via the official ASSEB Rechecking Portal.

Important Points Regarding ASSEB Answer Script Rechecking:

• Rechecking is Not Re-evaluation
• The process of rechecking does not involve re-evaluation of the entire answer script. It includes only specific verification tasks as mentioned below:
  • Re-totaling of Marks:
    • All marks awarded by the examiner will be re-added to ensure accuracy.
  • Assessment of Unchecked Answers:
    • Any answers that were left unevaluated will be assessed and marked.
  • Correction of Entry Errors:
    • Errors in the entry of marks (manual or digital) will be corrected.

Rechecking Result Notification:

• The results of the rechecking process will be published through an official notification within 30 days from the last date of application submission.

Issuance of Revised Mark Sheets/Certificates:

• In case of any change in marks:
  • Students must submit their original mark sheets/certificates to the board’s office through the head of their respective institution.
  • Revised documents will be issued accordingly.
• Note: No mark sheets or certificates will be sent directly to the student or school by post or any other agency.

Scanned Copy of Answer Script:

• If requested during application, a scanned copy of the answer script will be sent to the candidate’s email address provided at the time of registration.

Application Fee for AHSEC HS Answer Script Rechecking 2025

Candidates applying for HS Answer Script Rechecking with the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) must pay a non-refundable application fee as detailed below:

• Rechecking Fee: ₹500/- per subject
• Includes: Re-totaling, assessment of unevaluated answers, and scanned copy of the answer script (if requested)

• Online Payment Only
• Accepted methods: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, etc.

Note: The processing fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
