Selection Process of SSC Selection Post Recruitment
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct three separate Computer Based Examinations (CBEs) for posts with different minimum educational qualifications — Matriculation, Higher Secondary, and Graduation & above levels.
Exam Pattern: Computer Based Examination (CBE)
The CBE will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions. The structure of the exam is as follows:

Negative Marking: 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Important Notes:
Normalization of Marks: The marks obtained by candidates in the Computer Based Examination will be normalized using the formula published by SSC through Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07-02-2019. These normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.
Skill Tests (If applicable): Candidates applying for posts requiring specific skills must undergo relevant tests such as:

Computer Proficiency Test These skill tests will be of qualifying nature only, meaning they won’t carry marks but must be passed.
