Pay Scale
The pay scale of Officers in Grade A is ₹62,500 – 3,600 (4) – 76,900 – 4,050 (7) – 1,05,250 – EB – 4,050 (4) – 1,21,450 – 4,650 (1) – 1,26,100 [17 years].

Eligibility Criteria of SEBI Recruitment

Age Limit:

A candidate must not have exceeded 30 years as on September 30, 2025 (i.e. candidate must have been born on or after October 01, 1995).
Age Relaxation:
Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

Educational Qualification (Stream-wise)

1. General

Master’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two years’ duration) in any discipline/ Bachelor’s Degree in Law/ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institute or CA/ CFA/ CS/ Cost Accountant.
(Equivalent to a Master’s Degree as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities).

2. Legal

Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University/ Institute.
Desirable: Two years’ post-qualification experience as an Advocate (including as an associate in an Advocate’s or Solicitor’s Office or Law firm) after being enrolled under the Advocates Act, 1961.

3. Information Technology

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any branch OR Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a Post Graduate qualification (minimum two years’ duration) in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology from a recognized University/Institute.

4. Engineering (Civil)

Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
Desirable:
Experience in maintenance of Office and Residential properties/colonies.
Experience in administering construction projects and knowledge of PERT/CPM techniques.
Working knowledge of CAM/CAD/MS Project or Primavera.
Experience in structural rehabilitation and construction project management.

5. Engineering (Electrical)

Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
Desirable:
Knowledge of electronic systems like CCTV, Fire Alarm, UPS, etc.
Experience in maintenance of lifts, pumps, AC plants.
Knowledge of PERT/CPM techniques and project administration.

6. Research

Master’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two years) in any of the following:
Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Econometrics, Quantitative Economics, Financial Economics, Mathematical Economics, Business Economics, Agricultural Economics, Industrial Economics, Business Analytics; OR
Finance, Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Quantitative Techniques, International Finance, Business Finance, Project & Infrastructure Finance, Agri. Business Finance; OR
Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics; OR
Mathematics with a one-year PG Diploma in Statistics or related subjects.
(Recognized equivalent to a Master’s Degree by the Association of Indian Universities).

7. Official Language

Master’s Degree in Hindi/ Hindi Translation with English as a subject at Bachelor’s level; OR
Master’s in Sanskrit/ English/ Economics/ Commerce with Hindi as a subject at Bachelor’s level; OR
Master’s in both English and Hindi/ Hindi Translation from a recognized University/Institute.
