Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has released a recruitment notification [CEN No. 02/2025] for the appointment of 6238 Technician Posts across various RRB zones. The online application process for the RRB Technician Vacancy 2025 has started from 28th June 2025 and will continue till 28th July 2025.

  • Candidate must have any one of the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in:
  • Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation
  • OR a combination of any of the above basic streams
  • OR
  • Three Years Diploma in Engineering in any of the above streams or in a combination of these
  • OR
  • Degree in Engineering in any of the above streams or combination
  • Technician Grade-III:
  • Matriculation / SSLC with:
  • ITI from NCVT/SCVT recognized institutions in relevant trades (as per official notification)
  • OR
  • Matriculation / SSLC with:
  • Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in relevant trades

Examination Fee of RRB Technician Recruitment 2025

Candidates applying for RRB Technician Posts under CEN No. 02/2025 are required to pay an examination fee based on their category or community as mentioned below:

  • Ex-Servicemen ₹250/-
  • Female Candidates ₹250/-
