The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has released an official employment notification for the recruitment of 84 posts including Deputy Manager (Finance & Accounts), Library & Information Assistant, Junior Translation Officer, Accountant, and Stenographer. NHAI Recruitment 2025 Overview

1. Deputy Manager (Finance & Accounts)

No of posts: 09
Pay Scale: Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)
Age Limit: 30 years
Educational Qualification:
Master of Business Administration (Finance) – MBA (Finance) through a regular course from a recognised University or Institute.

2. Library & Information Assistant

No of posts: 01
Pay Scale: Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)
Age Limit: 30 years
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from a recognised University or Institute.

3. Junior Translation Officer

No of posts: 01
Pay Scale: Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)
Age Limit: 30 years
Educational Qualification:
(i) Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject,
or Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject,
or equivalent combinations as specified in the official notification.
(ii) Recognised Diploma/Certificate in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa,
or 2 years of experience in translation work in Central/State Government offices.

4. Accountant

No of posts: 42
Pay Scale: Level 5 (₹29,200 – ₹92,300)
Age Limit: 30 years
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University or Institute; and
Intermediate in Chartered Accountancy (CA) or Intermediate in Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA).

5. Stenographer

No of posts: 31
Pay Scale: Level 4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100)
Age Limit: 28 years
Educational Qualification:
(i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University or Institute.
(ii) Dictation of 5 minutes at the speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand (English or Hindi).
Transcription time (on computer):
English – 50 minutes
Hindi – 65 minutes
