Eligibility Criteria for Land Records Assistant (LRA) Recruitment 2026

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 21 to 40 years of age as on 01 January 2025.
Age Relaxation:
Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories as per Government norms.
The age of candidates will be calculated based on the Class X / Class XII Admit Card, Pass Certificate, or Marksheet issued by a recognized board where Date of Birth is clearly mentioned.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill the following qualifications:

Must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination from a recognized Central or State Board.
Must have successfully completed Recorder Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40 (except Sixth Schedule districts/other states).
Candidates must have basic computer and IT knowledge with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in Assamese or Bengali.
