The Directorate of Land Records & Surveys etc., Assam has released an official employment notification for the recruitment of 552 Land Records Assistant (LRA) posts. Candidates who have successfully completed the Recorder Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training from the **Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati are eligible to apply for these posts. Land Records Assistant (LRA) Recruitment 2026 – Overview

  • PB-2 ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹6,200 with other admissible allowances.

Age Limit

  • Candidates must be between 21 to 40 years of age as on 01 January 2025.
  • Age Relaxation:
  • Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories as per Government norms.
  • The age of candidates will be calculated based on the Class X / Class XII Admit Card, Pass Certificate, or Marksheet issued by a recognized board where Date of Birth is clearly mentioned.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill the following qualifications:

  • Must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination from a recognized Central or State Board.
  • Must have successfully completed Recorder Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40 (except Sixth Schedule districts/other states).
  • Candidates must have basic computer and IT knowledge with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in Assamese or Bengali.

  • Hard copy of the online application form
  • Class X / Class XII Admit Card / Marksheet / Certificate showing Date of Birth
  • Certificates and marksheets from HSLC onwards
  • RCCC pass certificate
  • Caste certificate (SC / ST / OBC / MOBC / OBC-T) if applicable
  • PwD certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable)
  • Declaration Form-A (Small Family Norms)
  • Valid Mobile Number / WhatsApp Number / Email ID
  • Documents supporting any other claim made in the application
  • NOC from Head of Department for candidates already working in Government service
