Pay scale:

Pay Band: Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/-
Grade Pay (GP): Rs. 12,700/-
Pay Structure: Pay Band – 4
Other Benefits: Includes all admissible allowances as per Assam State Government rules.

Educational Qualification

MBBS degree with registration under Assam Medical Council, 1960.
Upload all semester/year mark sheets and certificates.

NB: The Ex.Servicemen must upload Ex-servicemen ldentity Card issued by Zila Sainik Welfare Office of the state of Assam and Discharge Book while applying for the reserved post.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must ba a permanent resident of Assam.
A Domicile proof of the candidate, he/she must upload a copy of the valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose / Employment Exchange Registration Certificate will be treated as proof of residency.

Age Limit & Relaxation

General Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years
Age Limit Relaxation:
SC/ST: Relaxation of 5 years (Up to 43 years)
OBC/MOBC: Relaxation of 3 years (Up to 41 years) (As per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9, dated 25th April 2018)
Ex-Servicemen:
- UR: Up to 50 years
- OBC/MOBC: Up to 53 years
- SC/ST: Up to 55 years
PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities):
- 10 years relaxation across all categories (UR/OBC/SC/ST)
- (As per Govt. Memo No. ABP 144/95/121, dated 28th October 2015)

For PwBD Category Candidate:

To be eligible for consideration under PwBD category, a candidate must possess Benchmark Disability and must produce necessary certificate issued by the competent authority.

Small Family Norms:

The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
