JEE Main 2026 – Apply Online for Joint Entrance Examination (Main)
National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2026). Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for the JEE Main examination through the official portal. The Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE-Main) is conducted for admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Plan courses in NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), as well as participating universities and state-funded institutes.

There is no age limit to appear in JEE Main 2026. Candidates who have passed Class 12/equivalent in 2024, 2025, or are appearing in 2026 can apply. However, candidates must meet the age criteria of the respective institutes they wish to join. Only candidates who: Passed Class 12/equivalent in 2024 or 2025, or Are appearing in Class 12/equivalent in 2026, are eligible to appear for JEE Main 2026. Candidates who passed Class 12/equivalent before 2023 are not eligible. The state code of eligibility refers to the state from where the candidate passed Class 12, not the native state or place of residence. For example, if a candidate studied in New Delhi but resides in Noida (U.P.), their state code of eligibility will be Delhi. How to Apply JEE Main 2026
