Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), has announced the recruitment of 114 apprentices at its Guwahati Refinery as part of a broader initiative to engage 1,770 apprentices across various refineries in India. This program aims to enhance skill development under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 (as amended).

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age: 18–24 years as of May 31, 2025 (age relaxation applicable as per rules)

Educational Qualifications:

• 3-year B.Sc. in relevant subjects for certain trades
• Matric with ITI in relevant trades
• 3-year Diploma in Engineering disciplines
• Graduation in relevant fields for specific trades
• Class XII pass for Data Entry Operator roles

Stipend: As per Apprentices Act and IOCL guidelines

Selection Process:

• Merit-based shortlisting
• Document verification
• Medical examination

• Click on “Engagement of Apprentices under Refineries Division”
• Click on “Detailed Advertisement” to read the complete notification.
• Then click on “Click here to Register/Apply to NAPS/NATS” to register/apply on the respective portal.
• Next, click on “Click here to Apply Online on IOCL portal” to fill out the application form.

Important: Two-Step Application Process

Candidates must complete BOTH steps for their application to be considered:

• STEP I:
  • Register on the NAPS/NATS portal and apply for the relevant apprenticeship opportunity:

  • A valid and active Apprentice Registration/Enrolment Number generated from the NAPS/NATS portal

  • Note: Applications that do not complete both steps (NAPS/NATS and IOCL portal) will not be considered.
