Vacancy Details

Nationality

• A candidate must be:
• A citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal, or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam) with the intention of permanently settling in India.
• Candidates belonging to categories (ii) and (iii) must possess a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Government of India (not required for Gorkha subjects of Nepal).

Age Limit (as on 01 October 2026)

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 27 years
• Date of Birth: Between 01 October 1999 and 30 September 2006 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed the requisite Engineering Degree in notified disciplines OR
• Candidates studying in the final year of Engineering Degree are also eligible.

For Final Year Candidates:

• Must submit proof of passing Engineering Degree examination with mark sheets of all semesters/years by 01 October 2026.
• Must produce the Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from commencement of training at PCTA.
• Such candidates will be inducted on an Additional Bond Basis for recovery of training cost, stipend, and pay & allowances if they fail to produce the degree certificate.
