The Indian Army has released the official notification for Agniveer Recruitment 2026 under the Agnipath Scheme. A Common Entrance Examination (CEE) will be conducted for the recruitment of Agniveer posts across India. Online registration for Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2026 will start from 13 February 2026 and continue till 01 April 2026. Separate notifications have been issued by various Army Recruiting Offices (AROs). Eligible candidates willing to join the Indian Army as soldiers may apply online.

1. Agniveer (General Duty – GD)

• Qualification: Class 10 pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject
• Note: Candidates holding a valid LMV Driving Licence will be given preference for Driver requirements.

2. Agniveer (Technical)

• Qualification: Class 12 (Science) with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English
• Marks Required: 50% aggregate and 40% in each subject

3. Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper (Technical)

• Qualification: Class 12 pass in any stream
• Marks Required: 60% aggregate and 50% in each subject
• Mandatory Subjects: English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping

4. Agniveer Tradesmen (10th Pass)

• Qualification: Class 10 pass with 33% marks in each subject
• Agniveer Tradesmen (8th Pass)
• Qualification: Class 8 pass with 33% marks in each subject

Age Limit (as on recruitment year)

• Minimum Age: 17 years 6 months
• Maximum Age: 21 years
