The Gauhati High Court is set to release the admit card for the Written Examination of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Computer Assistant posts. Candidates who applied online will be able to download their admit cards starting 20 April 2026. The OMR-based written examination will be conducted on 26 April 2026 (Sunday) at Guwahati.

    • General Knowledge & Current Affairs
    • General English
    • General Mathematics (Class VIII level)
    • Assamese Language (20 marks – qualifying)

Important:

  • Minimum 40% (8 marks) required in Assamese section
  • Assamese marks will not be counted in merit list

Written Exam Details:

  • Duration: 2 Hours
  • Subjects:
    • Technical Knowledge – 50 Marks
    • English – 20 Marks
    • General Knowledge – 20 Marks
    • Aptitude & Reasoning – 10 Marks
    • Assamese Language – 20 Marks (Qualifying)

Negative Marking:

  • 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer

Additional Tests:

  • Skill Test: 30 Marks
  • Viva-Voce: 20 Marks

Assamese section requires minimum 40% (8 marks) to qualify and is not counted in merit.
