Educational Qualification:

• Must have a 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or Civil Engineering & Planning from a technical institute recognized by AICTE.
• The diploma must be from a regular course.
• Diplomas obtained through distance mode will not be accepted.

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025):

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 40 years
• (Relaxation available as per government norms.)

Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

Residentship: Must be a permanent resident of Assam.

Must produce:

• Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes, OR
• Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency.

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered in any Employment Exchange in Assam.

Small Family Norms: Candidates must submit a declaration in Form-A regarding “The Small Family Norms” during application.
