Office of the District Social Welfare Officer, Kamrup under the Women & Child Development Department, Kamrup has released an official notification for the recruitment of 5 contractual posts under Shakti Sadan (Integrated Relief and Rehabilitation Home for Women), Mission Shakti, Kamrup District. District Social Welfare Officer Kamrup Recruitment 2025 Overview

1. Resident Superintendent

• No. of Posts : 1
• Fixed Remuneration (Per Month) : Rs. 21,000/-
• Eligibility Criteria :
• Female candidates only.
• Master’s degree in Law / Social Work / Sociology / Social Science / Psychology.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in women-related domains in Government / NGO setup with at least 1 year of counseling experience.
• Preferably resident of the local community.

2. Office Assistant

• No. of Posts : 1
• Fixed Remuneration (Per Month) : Rs. 17,000/-
• Eligibility Criteria :
• Graduate with minimum 3 years’ experience in office documentation and computer work.
• Experience at State/District level with Government or NGO.

3. Multi-Purpose Worker

• No. of Posts : 1
• Fixed Remuneration (Per Month) : Rs. 10,500/-
• Eligibility Criteria :
• Female candidates only.
• HSLC passed or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.

4. Cook

• No. of Posts : 1
• Fixed Remuneration (Per Month) : Rs. 10,500/-
• Eligibility Criteria :
• Female candidates only.
• HSLC passed or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.

5. Security Guard / Night Guard

• No. of Posts : 1
• Fixed Remuneration (Per Month) : Rs. 9,000/-
• Eligibility Criteria :
• HSLC passed or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as security personnel in Government / reputed organization.
• Preference: Retired military / paramilitary personnel.

Age Limit

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 40 years as on 01.01.2025
• Upper age relaxation:
  • SC/ST(H)/ST(P): 5 years
  • OBC/MOBC: 3 years
  • PwD: 10 years

Selection Process

For Resident Superintendent:

• Written Test: 100 Marks
  • General Knowledge – 25 Marks
  • Women Protection Laws – 75 Marks
• Viva-Voce/Interview

For Other Posts (Office Assistant, Multi-Purpose Worker, Cook, Security Guard/Night Guard):

• Viva-Voce / Walk-in Interview only
