The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 on 8th February 2026 (Sunday). This will be the 21st edition of CTET and it will be conducted in offline mode (Pen & Paper – OMR based) across various exam centres in India. CTET Admit Card Release Date
CBSE will release the CTET Admit Card 2026 on the official website ctet.nic.in approximately two days before the examination date, i.e., likely on 6th February 2026.
CTET Exam Schedule 2026
The examination will be conducted in two shifts:
First Shift : 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon
Second Shift : 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM
CTET Papers Details
There will be two papers:
Paper I: For candidates intending to teach Classes I to V
Paper II: For candidates intending to teach Classes VI to VIII
Candidates may appear in either one or both papers, depending on their eligibility and choice.
How to Download CTET Admit Card 2026?
Candidates can download their CTET Admit Card by following the steps given below :

Click on the Download CTET Admit Card link.
The official CTET admit card portal will open.
Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth / Password.
Click on Submit.
Your CTET Admit Card 2026 will be displayed on the screen.
Download and take a printout of the admit card.
Carry the printed admit card to the examination hall along with a valid photo ID proof.
