The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET): CSTS Guwahati has announced a recruitment drive for 2025, inviting applications for contractual positions including Lecturers and a Placement Consultant.​

Vacancy Details:

1. Lecturer (English/Mathematics)

• No. of Posts: 2
• English: 1
• Mathematics: 1

Age Limit:

• Candidate must be below 65 years of age.

Educational Qualification:

• Full-time First Class Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline (English/Mathematics).
• Must also have First Class or equivalent either at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level from a recognized university.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a Polytechnic or Engineering College.

Remuneration:

• Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary in the range of ₹30,000 to ₹35,000/-.​

2. Lecturer (Plastics Engineering & Technology / Manufacturing Engineering / Chemical Engineering)

• No. of Posts: 1

Age Limit:

• Candidate must be below 65 years of age.

Educational Qualification:

• Full-time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with First Class or equivalent in the relevant discipline.
• If the candidate holds a Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology, then First Class or equivalent is required at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level.

OR

• Full-time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with First Class or equivalent,

AND

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a Polytechnic or Engineering College.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an M.E./M.Tech. and First Class.

Remuneration:

• Monthly consolidated pay of ₹30,000 to ₹35,000/-.

Assistant Placement Consultant

• No. of Posts: 1

Age Limit:

• Must be below 65 years of age.

Educational Qualification:

• Full-time graduate in any discipline with 2 years of relevant experience

OR

• MBA (HRM/PM) with 1 year of relevant experience.

Remuneration:

• Consolidated ₹35,000/- per month
