1. Tax Assistant

Educational Qualification:
Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Basic knowledge in the use of computer applications.
Data entry speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour.
(The speed will be judged by a test on Electronic Data Processing Machine)
Pay (As per 7th CPC):
Level-4, ₹25,500 – 81,100
2. Havaldar
No of posts: 10 [UR: 9, OBC: 1]
Educational Qualification:
Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Board.
Other Requirement:
Candidates must meet physical standards and pass physical tests as per new Recruitment Rules.
Pay (As per 7th CPC):
Level-1, ₹18,000 – 56,900
Other Criteria of CGST and Customs Guwahati Recruitment 2025
Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit:
18 to 27 years as on 13/09/2025.
Upper age relaxation:
5 years for SC/ST
10 years for SC/ST Sportspersons
Sports Qualification:
Proficiency will be evaluated based on participation in recognized tournaments/events in 2020 to 2025.
Certificates must be issued by concerned Authorities in prescribed formats (Annexure-A forms).
