BTC Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2025 – LP and UP Schools

Director of Education, Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Kokrajhar will released invite applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Teacher in LP and UP Schools under BTC area. This recruitment is for filling up regular vacant teaching positions in Government and Provincialised schools of BTC districts.

BTC Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2025 – Categories wise :

• Assistant Teacher for Lower Primary (LP) Schools
• Assistant Teacher for Upper Primary (UP) Schools
  • Assistant Teacher (Arts)
  • Assistant Teacher (Science)
  • Hindi Teacher

Educational Qualification:

For LP Schools (Class I to V):

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
• OR
• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed. (in accordance with NCTE norms)
• OR
• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
• AND
• Passed Assam TET or BTC TET for LP level

For UP Schools (Class VI to VIII):

• Assistant Teacher (Arts):
  • Graduate in Arts with 2-year D.El.Ed or B.Ed.
  • Passed Assam TET or BTC TET for UP level
• Assistant Teacher (Science):
  • B.Sc. with 2-year D.El.Ed or B.Ed.
  • Passed Assam TET or BTC TET for UP level
• Hindi Teacher:
  • Graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects and 2-year D.El.Ed or B.Ed.
  • Passed Assam TET or BTC TET for Hindi (UP level)

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age Relaxation as per government norms (SC/ST/OBC/PWD)
