Eligibility Criteria of BSF Constable Recruitment 2025

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 25 years
(as on 23rd August 2025)

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed 10th Class or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
Other Qualifications (Trade-wise):
For Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Electrician, Pump Operator, Upholster:
- Option 1: Two years certificate course from ITI in relevant trade.
- Option 2: One year certificate from ITI or Govt. affiliated Vocational Institute + one year experience in the trade.
For Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Sweeper, Khoji/Syce:
- Must be proficient in the respective trade.
- Must qualify the trade test conducted by the recruitment board.
For Cook, Water Carrier, Waiter:
- National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) Level-I Course in Food Production or Kitchen from NSDC or recognized institutes.
