The Azim Premji Scholarship is an initiative of the Azim Premji Foundation to support girl students from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue their college education. Selected students receive an annual scholarship of ₹30,000, which is awarded for the entire duration of their first undergraduate degree or diploma course .

Azim Premji Scholarship 2026 – Overview

• Scholarship Amount : ₹30,000 per year
• Paid annually for the full duration of the course (2 to 5 years)

Eligibility Criteria

• All girl students who:
• Have passed Class 10 and Class 12 as a regular student from a government school or college in any of the eligible States/UTs.
• Have taken admission in the first year (Academic Session 2025–26) as a regular student in a:
• Recognized Undergraduate Degree or
• Diploma course (2 to 5 years duration)

Studying at:

• A government college/university, or
• A credible and bona fide private institution, anywhere in India.

Eligible States / Union Territories

• Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

  • Bank Details (account number, IFSC, branch)
• Upload Required Documents
  • Upload scanned copies/photos in the required format (PDF/JPG/PNG), such as:
