Assam TET Result 2025 – GT/PGT TET Final Result on 17th October 2025
Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam has officially announced the final result date of the Assam Graduate Teacher (GT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Teachers Eligibility Test cum Recruitment Test (TCR) 2024. The Assam TET Final Result 2025 will be declared at 10:30 AM on 17th October 2025. Candidates who appeared for the TET cum Recruitment Test can check their Assam GT/PGT Final Result on the official DSE Assam website once released.

The Teachers Eligibility Test cum Recruitment Test (TCR) 2024 for Graduate Teacher and Post Graduate Teacher posts was held on 19th January 2025 across nine districts of Assam.
After the declaration of the written test results on 30th May 2025 (PGT) and 23rd June 2025 (GT), candidates were shortlisted based on academic marks, NCC/Sports/Fine Arts & Cultural achievements, and document verification.
As per the latest official update from Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the final result of Assam TET (GT/PGT) will be available online from 10:30 AM on 17th October 2025.
Assam TET Merit List Preparation Process
The final merit list for GT and PGT recruitment will be prepared using the following criteria:
Ratio of Qualified Candidates:
The number of candidates selected will be in the ratio of 1:1 against the advertised vacancies.
Additional Merit Lists (if required):
If any post remains vacant after the 1st merit list, up to two more merit lists may be published.
Subject-wise Merit Lists:
Separate merit lists will be prepared for each subject in case of Post Graduate Teachers.
Marks Consideration:
Marks secured in the TET cum Recruitment Test along with marks from academic qualifications, NCC, Sports, Fine Arts & Cultural Activities will be considered.
