Government of Assam, Directorate of Tribal Affairs (Plain), Assam has released an official notification inviting online applications for financial assistance under the scheme “Special Incentive to ST (P) Meritorious Students” for the academic year 2025–26. Eligible students belonging to Scheduled Tribes (Plain) of Assam may apply online through the DIDS portal.

Assam Special Incentive to ST (Plain) Meritorious Students 2025 – Details

Applicant must belong to ST (Plain) community of Assam.
Students must have secured the following minimum marks in 2025–26:
HSLC (Class 10): 80% or above
HS (Class 12): 75% or above
Graduation: 70% or above
Post Graduation: 65% or above

How to apply Assam Special Incentive to ST (Plain) Meritorious Students 2025?

Visit the Official Portal
- Go to the DIDS portal: https://dids.assam.gov.in
Register / Login
- If you are a new user, click on Register and create an account using a valid mobile number and email ID.
- If you already have an account, click Login with your credentials.
Fill in the Application Form
- Enter your personal details (Name, Date of Birth, Address, Aadhaar, etc.).
- Select your community category (ST Plain).
- Provide your academic details (HSLC/HS/Graduation/Post-Graduation as applicable).
Upload Required Documents (scanned copies in the given format):
- Aadhaar Card
- Digital Caste Certificate (ST-P)
- Marksheet of the recently declared examination (duly countersigned by HoD)
- HSLC Admit Card
- Passport Size Photo
- Scanned Signature
Review & Submit
- Carefully check all details before final submission.
- Once submitted, take a printout/acknowledgment slip for future reference.
