Eligibility Criteria of APSC Recruitment 2025

Age Limit:

Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 40 years (as on 01/01/2025)
Age Relaxation:
- SC: 5 years
- ST: 5 years
- OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years

Educational Qualification:

Minimum: Class VIII passed
Maximum: HSSLC/ Class 12 or equivalent examination passed
Candidates with higher educational qualifications are not eligible to apply.
Citizenship: Candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5–8 of the Constitution of India.
Residentship:
Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
Must produce either PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) of Assam issued for educational purpose OR Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidate must be registered in any Employment Exchange of Assam.
Small Family Norms: Candidates have to submit a declaration in Form-A regarding “The Small Family Norms” at the time of application.
