The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Admit Card for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2026 for admission into Class VI and Class IX in Sainik Schools across the country for the academic session 2026–2027. Candidates who have applied for the examination can now download their Hall Ticket/Admit Card online from the official website of NTA. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated with CBSE and managed by the Sainik Schools Society, Ministry of Defence. These schools prepare students to join the National Defence Academy (NDA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), and other prestigious officer training academies.

Students who have submitted the online application for admission into Sainik Schools can download their Admit Card by following these steps:

  • Scroll down and go to the Important Web-Link’s section.
  • Click on the AISSEE Admit Card 2026 link.
  • Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and verify the Captcha.
  • Click on the Submit button.
  • Your AISSEE Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download and take a printout of the Admit Card.
  • Carry the printed Admit Card to the examination hall on the exam date.

Important Instructions

  • The Admit Card is issued provisionally, subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions.
  • Admit Cards will not be sent by post.
  • Candidates must not mutilate or alter any entry on the Admit Card.
  • Preserve the Admit Card carefully for future reference.
  • Entry to the examination hall will not be allowed without a valid Admit Card.
  • Starting date of submission of online application: 10th October 2025
  • Last date of submission of online application: 9th November 2025, 5.00 PM
  • Last Date for Fee Payment: 10th November 2025 (upto 11:50 PM)
  • Correction Window: 12th to 14th November 2025
  • Date of Examination: 18 January 2026

Qualifying Marks of AISSEE 2026

  • A candidate is eligible for admission to Sainik Schools if he/she secures:
    • Minimum 25% marks in each subject, and
    • Minimum 40% marks in aggregate of all subjects in AISSEE 2026.
  • Admission will be based on:
    • Relative merit in AISSEE,
    • Category-wise merit list,
    • Medical fitness, and
    • Verification of documents.
  • For SC/ST candidates:
    • No minimum qualifying marks are prescribed.
    • Admission will be done purely on the basis of inter-se merit within their respective categories, subject to:
      • Eligibility conditions,
      • Medical fitness, and
      • Document verification.
  • For SC/ST/OBC (NCL) candidates qualifying in General Merit:
    • If a reserved category candidate qualifies on his/her own merit in the General category,
      • He/She will be admitted against a General seat,
      • And will not be adjusted against reserved seats of SC/ST/OBC (NCL).
