Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy SSR Recruitment 2026
Age Limit
Candidates must meet the following age criteria:
Agniveer 01/2027 Batch
Born between 01 December 2004 and 31 May 2009 (both dates inclusive).
Agniveer 02/2027 Batch
Born between 01 May 2005 and 31 October 2009 (both dates inclusive).
Marital Status
Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible for enrollment as Agniveers.
Agniveers are not permitted to marry during the entire four-year service period.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following criteria:
12th Pass (Science)
Qualified in 10+2 with Mathematics & Physics
From a board recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India
Minimum 50% aggregate marks
Engineering Diploma
3-year Diploma in Engineering in any of the following streams:
Mechanical
Electrical
Automobile
Computer Science
Instrumentation Technology
Information Technology
From a recognized Central/State/UT Polytechnic Institute
Minimum 50% marks
Vocational Course
2-year vocational course
Must include Physics and Mathematics as non-vocational subjects
Minimum 50% marks
