SSUHS BSc Nursing Entrance Exam 2026 – Online Apply

Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has released the official notification of Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 for admission into the B.Sc. Nursing course in both Government and Private institutes of Assam for the academic session 2026. The CEE 2026 will be conducted on 7th June 2026 (Sunday) at various examination centres across Assam and selected centres in other North Eastern states. It is important to note that the same CEE score will also be used for admission to D.Pharm, B.Pharm, and Allied & Healthcare (B.Sc. Medical Technology) courses in Government and Private institutes of Assam. Interested and eligible candidates may submit their online applications till 30 April 2026.

SSUHS CEE 2026 Exam Centres

The entrance exam will be conducted in the following cities:
Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Jorhat, Barpeta, Tezpur, Diphu, Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Kokrajhar, Nalbari, Dhubri, Shillong, Aizawl, Itanagar, Agartala, Imphal, Dimapur, and Gangtok.

Eligibility Criteria for SSUHS BSc Nursing Entrance Exam 2026

Citizenship

Applicants must be citizens of India.

Residency

A Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) is required for admission into Government institutes of Assam.

Age Limit

Minimum age: 17 years as on 31 December 2026
Maximum age: 35 years

Gender

For Government Nursing Institutes in Assam, male candidates are not eligible.
This restriction may not apply to private institutes.

Colour Blindness

Colour blind candidates are eligible, but they must wear colour-corrective contact lenses and spectacles.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must satisfy the following:
Must have passed 10+2 (Science) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Minimum 45% marks in PCB combined.
Must have passed English as a compulsory subject.
Candidates from State Open School or NIOS with Science subjects and English are also eligible.

Other Conditions

Candidate must be medically fit.
Married candidates are also eligible.

Application Fee

Candidates must pay the entrance exam fee online through the payment gateway available on the SSUHS website.
The fee is non-refundable.
PwD candidates (40% disability or above) are exempted from the application fee.

Candidates who want to pursue D.Pharm or B.Pharm courses under the Government of Assam must submit their applications online.
