Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam has officially declared the final result of the Teachers Eligibility Test cum Recruitment Test (TCR) 2024 for Graduate Teacher (GT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts. Candidates who appeared in the TET exam can now check their final selection status and download their appointment letters from the official DSE Assam portal.

Assam GT/PGT TET Result Date 2025
The TET cum Recruitment Test 2024 was held on 19th January 2025 across nine districts of Assam.
After evaluation of written test marks, academic scores, NCC/Sports/Fine Arts/Cultural Activities, and document verification, the final merit list has been released on 17th October 2025 at 10:30 AM.
Preparation of Assam GT/PGT Merit List
The merit list for Graduate and Post Graduate Teachers was prepared as per the following criteria:
Ratio of Qualified Candidates: 1:1 with the number of advertised vacancies.
Publication of Lists: If any post remains vacant, up to two additional merit lists may be published.
Separate Subject-wise Lists: Each subject (for PGT) has its own separate merit list.
Selection Basis:
Marks obtained in the TET cum Recruitment Test.
Weightage for academic performance, NCC, Sports, Fine Arts & Cultural Activities.
Document verification.

The official DSE Assam portal will open.
Enter your Application Number / Username and Password.
Click on Login.
Your TET Result along with marksheet will appear on the screen.
Download and print your marksheet and appointment letter for future use.
