Eligibility Criteria of APSC Recruitment 2025

Nationality & Domicile

Must be an Indian Citizen (Articles 5–8 of Constitution).
Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
Proof required: PRC issued for educational purpose OR Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.

Educational Qualification

Civil Engineer / Public Health Engineer: B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Full Time) OR AMIE (India) Civil (enrolled before 31.05.2013).
Mechanical Engineer: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Full Time) OR AMIE (India) Mechanical (enrolled before 31.05.2013).
Electrical Engineer: B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Full Time) OR AMIE (India) Electrical (enrolled before 31.05.2013).
Environmental Engineer:
- B.E/B.Tech in Environmental Engineering (Full Time) OR
- B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with Master’s in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering OR
- AMIE (India) Environmental Engineering/Civil + Masters in Environmental Science/Engineering (enrolled before 31.05.2013).

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)

General: 21 – 38 years
OBC/MOBC: up to 41 years
SC/ST: up to 43 years
Ex-Servicemen: up to 50 years (further relaxable: OBC/MOBC +3 yrs, SC/ST +5 yrs)
PwBD: +10 years relaxation

Other Conditions

PwBD: Must possess Benchmark Disability Certificate.
Govt. Employees: Must upload Service Certificate. NOC required for pay protection/service continuation.
Small Family Norms: Candidates must submit a declaration (Form A).

Pay Scale

Pay Band–4: ₹30,000 – ₹1,10,000
Grade Pay: ₹12,700
Plus other allowances as admissible under Assam Govt. rules

Click on the link “Apply Online” given in the recruitment section.
Log in using your OTR (One Time Registration) ID.
If you haven’t registered earlier, create a new OTR ID by completing the registration process.
Fill out the online application form carefully with all required details.
Upload scanned copies of necessary documents, such as:
- Educational qualification certificates & marksheets
- Age proof (HSLC/HS admit card or certificate)
- Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) / Employment Exchange Registration Certificate
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Disability certificate (for PwBD candidates, if applicable)
- Ex-Servicemen documents (if applicable)
- Small Family Norms declaration (Form-A)
- NOC/Service Certificate (for Govt. employees, if applicable)
