Eligibility Criteria of Assam Judicial Service Recruitment

Citizenship:

Candidate must be a citizen of India as defined in Articles 5 & 6 of the Constitution of India.

Age Limit (as on last date of application):

Unreserved: 35 to 45 years
SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 35 to 48 years
PwBD (Locomotor Disability only): Upper age relaxable by 10 years

Educational Qualification:

Degree in Law from a recognized University.
Must be practicing as an Advocate in Civil and Criminal Courts for a continuous period of not less than 7 years as on the last date of application.
Must also be a practicing advocate at the time of appointment.
