UR: 18 – 40 years Ex-Servicemen: up to 42 years OBC/MOBC: up to 43 years SC/ST(P)/ST(H): up to 45 years PwD: up to 50 years (As on 1st August 2025) As per Govt. policy, candidates having more than two living children on or after 01.01.2021 shall not be eligible. Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a permanent resident of Assam. Special Educator (LP Schools) Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) recognized by RCI. Must have ATET/CTET passed certificate for LP Schools. Special Educator (UP Schools) Graduate with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education) recognized by RCI. Must have ATET/CTET passed certificate for UP Schools. Medium of Instruction: Either Language-I or Language-II of ATET/CTET must match the medium of instruction of the school applied for.
