Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released two official notifications for the recruitment of 841 posts under Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO – Generalist & Specialist) and Assistant Engineer (AE – Civil & Electrical) in its 32nd batch recruitment. No. of Post : 350 Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. No. of Post : 50 Qualification : B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering from AICTE recognized institution. Minimum 3 years post-qualification work experience. No. of Post : 31 Qualification : B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering from AICTE recognized institution. Minimum 3 years post-qualification work experience. No. of Post : 30 Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree + Passed Final Examination of ICAI and Associate Member of ICAI. No. of Post : 10 Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree + Qualified Member of ICSI. No. of Post : 30 Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Passed at least 6 papers of Institute of Actuaries of India / UK. No. of Post : 310 Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India (Life) + 5 years’ experience in Life Insurance Company. No. of Post : 30 Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Law with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD). Enrolled with Bar Council + 2 years’ experience as Advocate. LIC AAO & AE Other Criteria
Basic Pay: ₹88,635/- per month in the scale ₹88,635-4385(14)-150025–4750(4)−169025. Total emoluments (including allowances) in ‘A’ Class city: Approx. ₹1,26,000/- per month. Minimum Age: 21 years Maximum Age: 30 years (Generalist, AE, CS, Actuarial, Insurance Specialist) 32 years (AAO-CA, AAO-Legal) Age Relaxation: SC/ST → 5 years OBC → 3 years PwBD → 10–15 years (as per category) Ex-Servicemen → 5–10 years (as per category) LIC Employees → +5 years SC/ST/PwBD : ₹85 + GST + Charges All Others : ₹700 + GST + Charges The recruitment will be conducted in three phases: Preliminary Exam Main Exam Interview + Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination Preliminary exam pattern differs for Generalist, Specialist, AE, and Legal posts. No negative marking for AAO Generalist Prelims, while 1/4th negative marking applies for Specialist, AE, and Legal posts. Selected candidates must serve LIC for a minimum of 4 years (including probation). In case of resignation before this period, ₹5,00,000/- is payable as liquidated damages.
