Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina Scheme is a flagship welfare initiative launched by the Government of Assam under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. The scheme aims to financially empower girl students from economically weaker sections and reduce school dropout rates, especially at the secondary and higher secondary levels. In 2025, the scheme is expected to continue and possibly expand its coverage and benefits to ensure 1 million (10 lakh) girl students in Assam are supported.
