Age Limit:

• Candidates born between 02nd July 2005 and 02nd January 2009 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
• The upper age limit at the time of enrollment is 21 years, provided the candidate clears all selection stages.

Educational Qualification:

• A. For Science Subjects:
• Candidates must have passed any one of the following:
• Option 1:
• Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English from an Education Board recognized by Central, State, or UT Government with:
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate
• Minimum 50% marks in English
• Option 2:
• Passed 3 years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a recognized Polytechnic Institute with:
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate
• Minimum 50% marks in English (in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not part of Diploma)
• Option 3:
• Passed 2 years Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects like Physics and Math from recognized Education Boards with:
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate
• Minimum 50% marks in English (in Vocational Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject)
• B. For Other Than Science Subjects:
• Candidates must have passed any one of the following:

General Medical Standards:

• Height:
  • Male Candidates: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cm

• Hearing:

  • Should be able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
• Dental:
  • Should have healthy gums and a good set of teeth

• General Health:
  • Candidate should have normal anatomy without any loss of appendages
  • Must be free from active/latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical disability

  • Should be physically and mentally FIT to perform duties in any terrain and climate globally
• Body Tattoo:
  • Permanent body tattoos are not permitted, except:
  • Inner face of the forearms (inside elbow to wrist)
  • Reverse side of the palm/back of the hand
  • Tribals with tattoos per custom and traditions may be considered
  • Offensive, obscene, indecent, sexist, or racist tattoos are strictly prohibited
  • Candidates with tattoos must submit two postcard-size photographs (close-up and distant view) with details of size and type of tattoo
  • Final decision on acceptability of tattoos rests with the Selection Centre
