Shortlisted Candidates:
Candidates who have been shortlisted for Document Verification can download their Admit Card from the official website.
The Admit Card will display the total marks, including weightage marks.
These candidates must report to the designated venue on the scheduled date and time along with all required documents (mentioned in the admit card).
Other Candidates:
All other candidates can download their Marksheet, which will also reflect the total marks including weightage marks (where applicable).
Assam GT/PGT TET Merit List 2025 – Preparation Process & Selection Criteria
The Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam has outlined the detailed procedure for the preparation of the Merit List for Graduate Teacher (GT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) recruitment based on the TET cum Recruitment Test (TCR), 2024.
Number of Qualified Candidates
The number of candidates qualifying in the TET cum Recruitment Test shall be strictly in the ratio of 1:1 to the number of advertised vacancies.
Assam TET Merit List Criteria
Initial Merit List:
The first merit list will be prepared in a 1:1 ratio against the total number of vacancies.
This list will be subject-specific in the case of PGT posts.
Additional Merit Lists:
If any post remains vacant after the publication of the first merit list, a maximum of two (2) additional merit lists may be published to fill the remaining posts.
Subject-wise Merit Lists:
Separate subject-wise merit lists will be prepared, especially for Post Graduate Teacher positions.
How the Merit List is Prepared
The marks obtained in the TET cum Recruitment Test by candidates of a particular subject will be filtered into a separate subject-wise merit list.
This process will be repeated for all subjects, ensuring transparency and subject-specific selection.
