Eligibility Criteria for ISRO Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ Recruitment 2025
Age Limit
- Flying Branch:
- 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2026, i.e., born between 02nd July 2002 to 01st July 2006 (both dates inclusive).
- Upper age limit is relaxable up to 26 years for candidates holding a valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) i.e., born between 02 July 2000 to 01 July 2006.
- Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches:
- 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2026, i.e., born between 02 July 2000 to 01 July 2006 (both dates inclusive).
Marital Status
- Candidates must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course.
- Marriage is not permitted during training, and a candidate who marries after the date of his/her application, though successful at any stage, shall not be eligible for training.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level and possess one of the following:
- Graduation (minimum three years degree course) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.
- OR
- BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.
- OR
- Cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.
- Final year students are also eligible to apply, provided:
- They have no present backlog at the time of AFSB testing.
- They have secured a minimum of 60% marks up to the last semester/year.
- They can produce a provisional/original degree as per the date specified in the official advertisement.

Examination Fee
- Candidates registering for AFCAT entry must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹550 + GST.
- Candidates applying for NCC Special Entry are exempted from paying the fee.
