Assam D.El.Ed. Admission 2025 – Eligibility Criteria & Important Information

Candidates aspiring to take admission into the 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course under SCERT Assam must fulfill the following eligibility criteria and application guidelines:

Eligibility Criteria for SCERT PET

Resident-ship:
- Only permanent residents of Assam are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification for SCERT PET:
- Must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board or Council.
- Should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate (excluding marks of extra/optional/fourth subjects).
- Relaxation: 5% marks relaxation in aggregate for candidates belonging to SC, ST(P), and ST(H) categories.
Age Limit (as on 1st July 2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 34 years
- Relaxation: Up to 2 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST(P), and ST(H) categories.
Reservation of Seats:
- Reservation for various categories such as OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), and PWD (Persons with Disability) will be as per existing Government norms.

Application Fee SCERT PET

All candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹600.00.
The fee must be paid online via Internet Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or Wallet.

Admit Card for SCERT PET 2025

Candidates can download their Admit Card for SCERT D.El.Ed. PET 2025 from https://scertpet.co.in.
Admit Card Download Date: From 5th July 2025
Required credentials: Application Number and Date of Birth (as entered during online application).

Venue of Pre-Entry Test (PET)

The Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2025 will be held in the District selected by the candidate during the online application process.
The exam venue will be clearly mentioned in the Admit Card.
On selection, candidates will be allotted seats in Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) located in the same district where they appeared for the PET 2025.
